Rubbish disposal

In the old block I grew up in, the rubbish chute opened into every home's kitchen. It ends up in a collection space on the ground floor, where the truck stops to collect.

In the second home I moved into at the start of middle school, the rubbish chute no longer opened into every home, but to one common location per floor.
